Day One: The Significance of the Regulatory Framework in the Modern Workplace

Keynote address: The changing role of the regulator

The new Chief Executive of the HSE will outline the regulator's role in ensuring senior management leadership on health and safety within an organisation. An opportunity for delegates to hear the HSE new CEO and learn of the regulator's future focus and strategy. There will also be a minute silence at 11am to mark Workers' Memorial Day. Held on 28 April every year and officially recognised by the UK government, we will remember those who were killed at work and ensure such tragedies are not repeated.
